Purchasing Officer

The Internal Sales Support Executive will provide administrative and operational support to the UK Sales team to ensure the smooth functioning of the sales process. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction, managing sales documentation and assisting in achieving sales targets.

Undergraduate Degree or equivalent.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the Elcometer ‘Steps Of A Sale’ Process in all customer interactions.
  • Process straightforward orders and escalate to the Internal Sales Executives, where required.
  • Send email responses to re-order requests and escalate to Internal Sales Executives, where required.
  • Inter-departmental liaison (i.e. Finance, Purchasing, Production, etc.).
  • Follow up catalogue requests.
  • Be responsible for internal administrative tasks.
  • Add leads generated and web enquires to CRM system, allocating them to the appropriate Internal Sales Executive.
  • Manage the follow up process for re-certification after purchase.
  • Send follow up “thank you” emails, following receipt of ordered products.
  • Provide holiday cover for the Internal Sales Executives.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience within a pro-active sales environment.

Desirable

  • B2B Sales experience.

Skills

  • CRM capabilities.
  • Good communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to work in fast-paced and varied environment.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
